Not the best thing I've ever played, but was a decent bit of fun. I agree with others that you need to include indicators in future iterations for the puzzles that give you an idea of whether or not you are doing the right thing. I had no problems with the novelization of the adventure game type. It was fun. More branching quest lines, more RPG elements maybe? Good job. Please, work on the story next time. That was my only true dislike. Keep up the good work.
Game was a blast to play. If you could let me in on how to get Wheel of Decimation, that would be great. It is the only medal I don't have. I can't say I ran into any of the problems so many people were complaining about in the comments. The final boss took me a few tries, but nothing horrible. Art is great, music is good, gameplay reminded me at times of old favorite like Monkey Island. I would have preferred less QTE, but overall was still a true joy to play. Will be looking forward to the sequel.
Btw: Please tell me how to get the Wheel of Decimation medal. The completionist in me is highly perturbed.
Yeah man, just use the controller kill at the archer bandit elf and that should do it.
Thanks for the great review and for playing my game!
I had a very good time playing this, though it was far from perfect. Too often I felt like I had no control over what was happening, despite the decisions I made. There were also too few choices. This is, of course, my opinion. It was still enjoyable. So then,
+ Interesting characters
+ Story hints at a larger world that could be fleshed out in future
+Visuals serve their purpose
+Medal's are well implemented with story, and work.
-The ability to have items, yet very few are available.
-Too few choices.
-Characters abilities and skills are rarely taken advantage of.
